There is an Iowa code pertaining to juveniles under the age of 18 who have a driver's license but are not enrolled in school. The code says that juveniles under the age of 18, who have not completed their high school education and are not enrolled in school, will have their driving privileges (ie driver's license) suspended by Department of Transportation (DOT).
As parents, take the time and share this information with your children who have their driver's license or are getting close to getting their license. If they are not eighteen and considering dropping out of school, ask them this question, "Is it worth your driver's license?"
