The board, recognizing alternatives to education outside the formal public school system, authorizes the establishment of a home school assistance program. This program will assist students receiving

competent private instruction by providing licensed employees of the school district to assist the parent, guardian or legal custodian in the education of the student.  

 

The parent, guardian or legal custodian registering for the home school assistance program will agree to comply with the requirements established by the faculty of the program.

 

Students registered for the home school assistance program will be counted in the basic enrollment.

 

It is the responsibility of the superintendent to develop administrative regulations regarding this policy.
